The oud immediately grounds it, but the hinoki and iris lift it into something almost airy. I’ve been wearing it daily for a week and the plum oil keeps my skin from drying out, which is a bonus I didn’t expect from a perfume.
I wasn't expecting the hinoki to come through so clearly, it gives the whole thing a fresh, almost forest-like lift against the deep oud. The Mirabelle plum oil also makes it sit gently on my skin for hours without any dryness.
